Mobile Apps Premium Layout: Home Screen

This layout displays your Video Gallery images and/or SubChannel/MediaGroup images on the Home Screen, rather than the Channel images, which triggers the viewers reflex to click on videos to watch immediately. Live Channel images are always displayed on the very top.

Advantages: Less clicks needed to play content due to your on-demand content as well as live content being displayed on one and the same page, rather than having separate pages for each individual Channel Type (VOD/LIVE/AUDIO). The layout and navigation is similar to your other TV app layouts which provides consistency across your apps.

Mobile Apps Premium Layout: Sub Channels or Media Groups on Home Screen

If you used Sub Channels or Media Groups in a VOD Channel, Sub Channel or Media Group images will be displayed on the first navigation tier (Home Screen).

Clicking on a Sub Channel or Media Group Image on the Home Screen loads the content of the Sub Channel or Media Group in a second navigation tier.

Mobile Apps Premium Layout: Video Playlist

If you used Sub Channels or Media Groups in a VOD Channel, Video Gallery Images of assigned videos from a Sub Channel or Media Group will be displayed on a second navigation tier.

When VOD Channels don't have Sub Channels or Media Groups, video content of that VOD Channel will be displayed on the first navigation tier (Home Screen).

Mobile Apps Premium Layout: Player Page

This is the third navigation tier when using Sub Channels or Media Groups, or the second navigation tier on VOD Channels without Sub Channels or Media Groups.

The Player Page displays the selected Video at the top with player options to start play back, display full screen, mute and control audio levels, and more.

Below the Player the video title, view numbers, the video description in an expandable area, and several app functions are displayed.

Mobile Apps Standard Layout: Home Screen

This layout can display one of the following choices (please make sure to communicate your choice along with filling out the App Forms):

1. List of LIVE Channels

2. List of VOD Channels

3. Combination of LIVE & VOD: LIVE Channel 1 at the top (with optional auto-start mode), with Gallery Images of VOD Channels below

All framework base-apps are built for the most user-friendly upright/portrait navigation, but open videos and live-stream playbacks full screen in horizontal/landscape mode for best viewing experience.

Mobile Apps Standard Layout: Sub Channels or Media Groups Screen

For best usabiliy and real-time design control, the mobile apps display Gallery Images of Channels, Sub Channels / Media Groups and Videos in full-width across the entire width of the device. This allows Users to be able to see your graphics and read fonts on Gallery Images you uploaded clearly.

Clicking on a VOD Channel Image on the Home Screen loads the Sub Channel or Media Groups of that VOD Channel in a second navigation tier, if you have chosen to use Sub Channels or Media Groups for that Channel. If not, it will load Videos of that VOD Channel directly.

Clicking on a Sub Channel or Media Group Image on the Home Screen loads the content of the Sub Channel or Media Group in a third navigation tier (see Screenshots for "Video Playlist" above) and clicking on a video from that Sub Channel or Media Group loads the video in a fourth navigation tier (see Screenshot for "Player Page" above).

The pages for Video Playlists and Video Player are the same for both layouts.
